The famous coronavirus has turned the world upside down, making everything we thought was right at our fingertips now another idea slowly drifting away. Quarantine has undoubtedly shown us the importance of independent work. Think about it, if you are not working for yourself, then what is the point? Working at the willing leisure of someone else will never guarantee you ultimate success. It is vital now to be the owner of something because it is every man for themself. As everything gets more expensive, particularly in lovely Chicago, minimum anything will not cut it to live a stable life.

With all that said, we can now correctly answer the question that every artist is asking, wtf am I going to do once quarantine is over? Because we all know that life will not be the same. Concerts, listening sessions, and face-to-face interviews have all come to a pause, causing the dedication to deliver more content a little more complicated than expected. So as I am trying to figure out all methods for myself as a DJ and for the artists, I currently work with, I want to share these findings with the world. What is the point of living if no one is winning? Suppose we can successfully grow the hip-hop community into a revenue channel that artists can capitalize on without using nasty third-party folks. In that case, we can establish a more sacred meaning in creating music.

This is why I created Invested Affairs. A service that will help rap artists to thrive in their careers, allowing the art of independence to show its true purpose. This is not a record label but a marketing agency dedicated to independent artists as I work with my partners to push our hip-hop culture in the right direction. With this opportunity, I am excited to work with artists, learn their stories, and communicate this to the world. I want this to be a place where you can entirely paint what you want, and I work to make this come to life. I want this to be considered a 'sky is the limit' opportunity. Know that no idea is too small or big to come to life. I want everyone to showcase why their unique and why their musical adventure is one to note in the books.
